“Frangipani at Breezes Spa brilliant”

I recently enjoyed three days of relaxation at Breezes and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities – especially Frangipani Spa. The interiors are beautiful and I can absolutely recommend spending time in The Sultans Bath which is aimed at couples wanting to spend quality time together – it include a couples massage on adjacent beds, a sunken jacuzzi and huge Swahili bed for after treatment relaxation. The room is decorated with frangipani and other flowers and have scented candles dotted around the room. Treatments are world class – I loved the Balinese massage and facial I tried. I also tried an individual yoga class and was delighted by the professional way it was handled by Sorinder. My compliments to Mabel (spa manager) and Miro (GM) for running a fine establishment. Good Spas are few and far between on Zanzibar who has not totally caught up with the Spa craze yet.

Liked — The Spa, beautiful Arabic/Indian/Moroccan interiors
Disliked — Would have loved to have a bath in the room
Tips/Secrets — Cycle up the beach, make sure you spend at least 3 days in Stone Town for some culture
