Low Tide Activities

Snorkeling Extravaganza

Zanzibar is famous for the clarity of its year-round-warm water. And for the spectacular underwater scenery of the coral gardens. Expect startlingly beautiful fish, convoluted coral and such ‘Big Five Beneath the Waves’ sightings as rays, wrasses and starfish. Our unique guided tours last two-and-a-half hours and deliver memories for life.  Plus, we have all the equipment you’ll need.

Time Out On The Beach

Our beaches are sublime – powdery-white sand backed by palm trees, sapphire-blue seas and some truly spectacular birdlife. So why not discover more by taking a walk, building a sandcastle or joining our activity teams for a game of volleyball or football? Our Guest Relations Desk will be delighted to tell you more.

Playtime In Paradise

We’ve got the holiday’s activity covered. Choose from frisbee, beach-tennis or swimming-pool volleyball.

Reef Shoe Ready?

To do justice to this miraculous coastline, you simply have to explore the rockpools and marine life of our famously pristine barrier reef. Essential, though, to ensure you’ve got the right footwear. Just ask at Guest Relations to kit yourself out with a pair of sturdy reef shoes. And, as an added bonus, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the coastline as you walk back.

Discover the real Zanzibar by bike

To fully immerse yourself in the timeless charm of Zanzibar why not take out one of our cycles for the day? Pedal your way around the quiet roads of this undiscovered part of the archipelago, explore the silvered sandy beaches further along the east coast, experience the wild beauty of the northern coastline or meet the locals in such culturally-rich villages as Bwjeuu and Paje to the south. Simply contact our Guest Relations Desk to book your bikes.
